Matt Brown has actively worked in the public works industry for the past 18 years. Matt started his career roadside mowing in a rural community. Since then his career has progressed in a variety of roles, from project manager to superintendent, with the last 5 years as a Streets Manager with the City of Surrey. Also, Matt currently volunteers with the Public Works Association of BC, Canadian Public Works Association and the American Public Work Association in variety of capacities. Matt has been fortunate to have good mentors and looks to share his experiences daily with his peers to continue a strong workforce in the public works industry.
