Adam Lape

My name is Adam Lape. I have the honor of serving as the Director of Operations for the Washtenaw County Road Commission in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I have worked for the road commission since 2014. Prior to Washtenaw County Road Commission, I worked for the Ohio Department of Transportation from 2005 to 2014. I was lucky to serve in many roles at ODOT. I worked as a summer helper, seasonal employee, highway technician 1 through 3, and finally completing my time with ODOT as a Transportation Manager. I grew up in Lexington, Ohio and attended Defiance College to play baseball prior to completing my bachelors of science and healthcare management degree as an ODOT employee. I still remain active chasing little kids at home and I continue my passion for sports and fitness as a 40 year old! I miss my days of working snow and ice in the equipment, but truly love the opportunity to speak and educate on winter maintenance methods. Thank you for the opportunity.
