Christina Chavez

Program Manager, Los Alamos National Laboratory

Christina, originally from New Mexico, was raised in Los Alamos. In 2011, she graduated from Adams State University with a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration and Marketing, while also playing collegiate softball. She obtained an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) from the University of New Mexico in 2022.

Following her undergraduate studies, Christina relocated to Denver, Colorado, where she embarked on a career in Healthcare Administration. She worked for the State of Colorado, specifically with the Department of Health Care Policy & Financing (HCPF). After her time in Colorado, Christina returned to her home state of New Mexico and joined Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) in 2017.

Currently, Christina serves as a Program Manager for the Associate Lab Director for Facility and Operations (ALDFO) and provides support for site-wide operations. Her experience as a system administrator of various systems has proven to be an invaluable skill when it comes to standing up technical infrastructure for large contracts/projects.

During her free time, Christina enjoys spending time with her loved ones and engaging in various activities, such as cooking, crafting, and playing ball.
