Mr. Dave Lawry

David is the Director of Municipal Operations for Chastain and Associates in Schaumburg, IL. David had worked for the Village of Schaumburg as the Director of Engineering and Public Works. David retired from the Village of Schaumburg in August of 2018. David was also the Public Services Director for the City of Elgin, IL for 23 years. David Lawry is a Life Member of APWA and was President of the American Public Works Association (APWA) for 2018-2019. Along with his service to APWA, David is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (since 1984 as a student member). David is a member of ASCE and ASCE-IL Infrastructure Report Card Committee and is chairman of ACEC-IL Materials Committee. David was an APWA Top Ten Public Works Leader of the Year recipient in 2012.
