John is currently serving in a senior executive level position for a community of 62,000 residents. He provides oversight for administration, capital project development, engineering, highways, fleet, facilities, flood control, and solid waste management. He has served on many municipal boards and often created and lead teams when addressing various projects/issues/initiatives facing the community. John served in the US Army in many positions of increasing responsibility culminating as the Deputy Commanding General of the US Army Special Warfare Center and School (Airborne) and Special Operations Center of Excellence, Ft Bragg, NC.
