Mr. Jon Tarleton

Jon Tarleton is the Vice President – Integrated Weather Systems and owner of his own consulting business. Jon has spent over 25 years in the transportation industry. Jon spent the first seven years of his career forecasting for Surface Systems’ Road/Runway Weather Information Systems (RWIS) clients across the United States and Canada. Jon then became the trainer, providing transportation weather user training to operations and maintenance at cities, counties, DOTs and airports across North America. In 2014, Jon assisted in developing the Winter Maintenance Certificate Class with the APWA and led the development of the aviation weather portion of the AAAE certified International Aviation Snow Symposium (IASS) Snow Academy. Jon has presented to over 20,000 attendees at across North America and brings his passion for weather education to each class.
