FHWA Proven Safety Countermeasures for Intersections

This webinar will focus on two of the FHWA Proven Safety Countermeasures for Intersections – Retro-reflective Borders on Back-plates and Corridor Access Management. The presentation will cover the basics on the application of these countermeasures, their effectiveness in improving intersection safety, and use case studies to illustrate effective, successful implementation.

After viewing this program, participants will be better able to:

  1. Discuss the FHWA Proven Safety Countermeasures for Intersections.
  2. Explain the basics of the application of the countermeasures and why they are effective in improving intersection safety.
